Monopoly Deal |The Parker Brothers produced and sold the evergreen and popular board game called Monopoly. In the year 2008, a variant of it called Monopoly Deal was released. In this game, the players try their best to accumulate 3 different and complete card sets that represent the board game’s properties. These can be applied by stealing them you’re your opponents, playing the cards directly or by collecting these cards as rent for properties owned by you. The deck has 110 cards, that represent wild cards, properties, Monopoly money denominations and special action cards.
The most interesting component of Monopoly Deal is of course the cards that are discussed below in detail:
a) Sly deal cards, which you can use to steal property from your opponents and add to your collection of properties. This card cannot be stolen from a whole set of properties.
b) The deal breaker allows you to steal a complete set of properties from any one of your opponents, if the set is not only complete, the player in question has the same colors and not together.
c) You can use the debt collector card and demand a Monopoly money to the tune of 5M from an opponent.
d) By using the rent card you can charge rent to an opponent on your properties or property that match the rent card color.
e) Right after using the regular Rent card, you can play the double the rent card to double the collected rent amount.
f) You can add the house or hotel cards to a full property set and thus add to the value of the value.
g) Money cards in the bank pile can be used to pay other players. Money cards come in denominations of 1 to 5 and the final one being the 10M card.
h) A forced deal card enables your to swap one of your property card’s with that of an opponent. The card top be swapped will be decided by you.
j) When you throw in the ‘it’s my birthday card; all players need to pay you 2M which is also the value of this card.
k) If you have a multi-colored rent card you can pick any player to pay you rent on one of your properties.
l) By using the pass go card you can pick 2 extra cards from the pile of draw cards. You have the option to play one or more of these cards per turn.
m) The property wildcards can be used as a substitute to property card of any one of the colors depicted on the card. There is no option for you to put together a complete property set, with purely wildcards. You can utilize this set if there is at least one standard property one.
